In the third quarter of 2024, the top five horror games on the unified platform in Ghana showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Granny saw a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 285 in late July before tapering off to 136 by the end of September. Active users for this game rose steadily from 576 at the start of July to a high of 940 in late July, followed by a gradual decline to 685 by the end of the quarter.

Granny 3 experienced an increase in downloads, reaching 204 in late July, and then a decrease to 107 by the end of September. The active user count started at 278, climbed to 483 by late August, and then declined slightly to 371 at the end of the quarter.

Haunted Dorm exhibited a moderate rise in downloads, starting at 47 and reaching 95 in late September. Active users began at 262 and increased to 380 by the end of September, showing a consistent upward trend throughout the quarter.

Hide in The Backrooms: Horror saw its downloads peak at 99 in late July, with a subsequent decline to 37 by the end of September. The active user base, however, grew from 650 to 859 over the same period, indicating a strong engagement despite the drop in downloads.

Finally, Scary Teacher 3D downloads fluctuated during the quarter, peaking at 126 in early August before dropping to 45 by the end of September. Active users increased from 438 at the start of July to 559 in early August, stabilizing at 466 by the end of the quarter.
